Angel is a first-generation UCLA student and fitness lifestyle creator who wanted to grow his digital presence in a way that felt true to his story and values. Before working together, Angel had 6K followers but struggled with low engagement and confidence around content creation.
He wasn’t looking to become just another fitness influencer—he wanted to build a supportive community that reflected his journey through college, fitness, and personal development. That’s where our partnership began.
Our first month focused on laying a strong foundation through:
A personal brand audit to understand his current digital presence
Content analysis to find patterns in performance
A collaborative SWOT analysis to assess strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities
Short-term and long-term goal setting tailored to his lifestyle and audience
Buyer persona development to define his niche and ideal follower
Messaging framework and brand voice creation

Built up filming confidence through low-pressure practice sessions
Developed his first media kit in preparation for brand partnerships

Learnings:
One challenge in this project was supporting a client virtually who was still building confidence on camera. I learned that consistent emotional encouragement is just as important as marketing strategy when working with creators. Next time, I’ll build in even more hands-on support resources (like filming prompts or checklists) to help clients get out of their own heads and start creating sooner.
